Vernal Muse pattern 19"
Vernal Muse is a 19” fairy made from 100% cotton (woven) fabric with a needlesculpted face, contoured body, and options for three different postures: seated, kneeling, or a standing posture that requires leg armature and a base. Her costume is created with free-motion machined lace and other motifs, which are sewn, cut out, and individually applied to the doll. Wings are stitched organza and wired.
This is an advanced level pattern. It is meant to be challenging and will require you to think...not just do. You are expected to create your own outline shapes and FM stitching designs for all the costuming elements, including the wings (which are considered specialized costuming). Instructions for how I created the costume are included, but keep in mind that the pattern pieces provided are for the doll proper only.
