The Wood Knots      10"

This CD features 6 separate lessons with accompanying detailed directions and photos for creating your Woodknot, his tree stump, and all the props. Everything is made from cloth. Instructions cover basic fabric manipulation to make organic forms like mushrooms and ferns, and creating surface textures to mimic tree bark and moss. The doe suede doll has a simple needlesculpted face, wired fingers and machine stitched joints. His costume is created with cloth scraps, fibers, and free motion machine stitching.
