What is your skill level?
Cloth doll classes, workshops, and patterns often state that they are designed for a particular skill level. This is meant as a general guideline to alert doll makers to the level of difficulty for that particular class or pattern. Because skill level descriptions can vary and are not standardized, keep in mind that the following applies when making dolls from Faewyck Studios patterns/classes.

Beginner
~ Should already possess sound basic sewing skills and be familiar with general pattern       terminology (usually from garment making, home sewing or crafting).
~ Comfortable with both hand and machine sewing.
~ Basic knowledge of different fabrics.
Intermediate
~ Should possess very good sewing skills.
~ Have mastered basic doll making skills, and understand how to read and create dolls 
  from a variety of basic doll patterns.
~ Are familiar with, and have experience using, the tools and techniques commonly used in    cloth doll making.
~ Have a good working knowledge of different fabrics, and some experience creating          dolls with a variety of materials.

Advanced
~ Should possess excellent sewing skills, including more advanced sewing techniques.
~ Have broad experience in the construction of figures.
~ Familiar with a large variety of materials (both usual and unusual) that are being 
   utilized in contemporary fiber art.
~ Ready to learn challenging and complex techniques to help formulate ideas and expand 
   application possibilities.
